‘Partner. Lover. Family.’
I brought my Fimo materials on holidays with me, but was desperately trying to work out how to make a chain link fence with no tools or wire. And then I remembered that if there is one thing that can be reliably purchased in British supermarkets the second the weather warms up even a little, it’s disposable BBQs. And you know what they include? Yep! A small sheet of metal grill to place your food on.

And then I spent my Saturday morning in an Asda car park, trying to somehow replicate the shot below, as I’m currently in Cumbria, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, lush vegetation, and dry stone walls, when what I needed was poured concrete and dirt lol

1. Are you named after anyone?
I’m named after my mum’s favourite song by The Beatles (Michelle), which ironically is my least favourite song by The Beatles lol
2. When was the last time you cried?
I was PMSing hard last month, I basically cried for two days straight. It was crazy! And dehydrating.
Before that, the last time I cried was probably when we watched and discussed the Vincent VanGogh Doctor Who episode for @f-f-podcast - buckets of tears every single time!!
3. Do you have kids?
Nope. Just fur babies.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I stopped to really think about that and came to the unfortunate conclusion that sometimes I use sarcasm humorously, but mostly I use it when I’m being a bitch. Oops.
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
They’re demeanour. Happy. Shy. Kind. Helpful. Competent. Confident. Loud and rowdy. Just their overall vibe. I generally have no memory of what people look like until after I’ve met them several times and spent time with them.
Two cats at home (Howard & Wiggins), and a whole lot of livestock at work. They count. I love them.
12. What sports do you play / have you played?
Volleyball and basketball in school. Tennis for 8 years, 2 years at club level. Roller Hockey for 10+ years, 3 years for the Swiss National Team.
Last time I went home to visit the family I brought back my custom painted hockey helmet. Look at that impact damage! s’probably fine… right? lol
13. How tall are you?
172cm (5’7’’ I think?)
14. Favorite subject in school?
German. Creative writing was my jam! Also I loved to read, and they encouraged that! lol
15. Dream job?
I like helping people. Doing something of value. And being creative. I currently have four jobs, each has one or two of these aspects. If you can think of a job that combines all four then please let me know! Haha
Caran d’Ache Neocolor Pastels & Derwent pencil (Chinese white) on black paper
Been thinking about my first attempt of working on black paper a lot, and how I approached it all wrong, and the ways in which to fix that. This was an exercise in patience, but I’m so much happier with this second try!
Black paper is now just straight up code for angst. Sorry about that.

A month ago I went to @deedala because I needed suggestions for (nice, cute, silly) knuckle tattoos.
“So… Mickey is absolutely Franny’s favourite uncle, and I think she regularly asks him to draw knuckle tattoos on her in sharpie. And of course he does it. But he wouldn’t write anything too crass. Also Ian would rip his head off if he did… but also nothing too girly, cause Franny isn’t girly… help?!?”
And because Deanna is a genius she nailed it in under 10 seconds flat, on her first try. So thanks to her I present…
